Environment America: Development Researcher
Background
We all care deeply about our environment. We also know that, as a country, we need to be taking more action to ensure our environment is preserved, especially when powerful interests stand in the way. Environment America, the federation of state-based environment groups, acts as a powerful advocate for our environment: to promote energy efficiency, to protect our open spaces, to clean up our air and water, and to advance global warming solutions. We speak out and take action at the local, state, and national levels to improve the quality of our environment and our lives. Environment America, the new home of U.S. PIRG's environmental work, draws on 30 years of success in tackling environmental problems.
