Dear
CARA Members:
I’d
like to welcome the newest member to the CARA board, Kristen Miller, Assistant
Director of Research at the University of San Francisco. She takes
over Membership Chair duties from Dori Cavala, who resigned earlier in the
year.
Here’s
a brief update on what’s happening at CARA this month.
- We’re
currently testing our MemberClicks interface, which includes a new member
database. This will allow individual sign-ons to the CARA website
and more detailed individual profiles. It will also facilitate
signing up for all CARA educational opportunities, and many more opportunities
for member communication. Stay tuned for your personalized member
sign-on.
- The 2009 Member Directory is currently being proofed and should be mailed
next week or two.
- CARA’s
brand new Corporate and Consultant Partner Program is being rolled out this
week. Many thanks to our Marketing Chair, Aimee Fitzgerald, for
the many hours of work that went in this new program that will facilitate
a year-round marketing program for our many vendors and consultants.
- We’re
still working on the promised Member Survey. Look for this toward
the end of the month or early May.
Finally,
I have a new email address for those of you who might want to contact me directly
with concerns or suggestions on how to improve CARA.
