Dear CARA Members: I am asking for your participation in selecting our CARA Service Award recipient(s) for 2007. For your convenience, the nomination form is posted on the CARA web site (www.caresearchers.org). Please carefully review the award criteria listed on the nomination form and identify fellow CARA members who are deserving of this recognition. CARA Service Award recipients are selected on the basis of their exceptional service to CARA and to the profession. The CARA Service Award is a relatively new tradition; the first award was presented at the APRA Conference in Anaheim in 2000. One or more Service Award recipients are selected each year. Please complete the nomination form for each of the colleagues you would like to have considered for the award. Please fill out the form(s) and attach them to an e-mail. The DEADLINE for nominations is March 5, 2007. The CARA Board of Directors and past recipients will make the selection of the award winner(s). Presentation of the Service Award(s) will take place at the CARA Conference in Costa Mesa in September. If you have any questions about the CARA Service Award, please contact me.
